1. HANSALAWYERS provide as free, self-employed and independent consultants legal advice to the clients and/or represent them in court pursuant to the following conditions, which will also apply to subsequent retainers if any. In addition, the German statutory provisions will apply. The appointment has to be accepted by HANSALAWYERS to establish a client/lawyer relationship.

2. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by the parties, HANSALAWYERS will be remunerated according to the RVG. Out-of-pocket expenses are also charged to the client. It is expressly emphasized that the HANSALAWYERS' fees vary according to value of the subject matter involved.
As far as HANSALAWYERS services are not stipulated in the RVG the terms under "Fees" on the homepage of HANSALAWYERS shall apply.

3. Both HANSALAWYERS and their clients are entitled to cancel the appointment if there is a good cause. This will not affect HANSALAWYERS´ remuneration already earned.

4. HANSALAWYERS liability is limited to an amount of EUR 10.000,000.00 (in words: ten millions Euros) per loss event, unless it can be shown that HANSALAWYERS have acted with intent or with gross negligence or the loss or damage results from a person's death, bodily injury or health impairment. As HANSALAWYERS are a partnership with limited professional liability, compensation claims can only be filed against their Professional Liability Insurance and the assets of the partnership. HANSALAWYERS confirm to have taken out the necessary Professional Liability Insurance according to § 51 a BRAO.
